The Literacy Council of Lancaster Lebanon  exists to promote literacy and to help adults learn the reading, math, and English communication skills they need to achieve success as family members, employees and community members through individualized instruction.

At the Literacy Council, adults receive instruction from trained volunteer tutors and professional staff.

There are 9 staff and 250 volunteers providing assessment and individualized instruction to 500 adult learners in the two county region.

All services are free of charge.

The Literacy Council serves Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.
